Text Case & Format Converter

Convert text to UPPER, lower, Title Case, camelCase, snake_case or kebab-case. All processing happens in your browser; your input is never sent to the server.

Renaming a variable, fixing a heading, normalising a column of data — all of it comes down to changing how a string is cased. This converter handles the human cases (upper, lower, title, sentence) and the programming cases (camelCase, PascalCase, snake_case, kebab-case, CONST_CASE) from one input.

How to use it

  1. Paste the text you want to convert. Multiple lines are fine.
  2. Pick a target case. The tool splits the input on spaces, underscores, hyphens and existing camel boundaries, so it converts between programming cases correctly.
  3. Read the result in the output box and copy it.
  4. To chain conversions, copy the output back into the input.

Frequently asked questions

Does it handle Turkish i correctly?
Yes, and this matters more than it sounds. In Turkish, uppercase i is İ and lowercase I is ı. A plain toUpperCase turns "istanbul" into "ISTANBUL" instead of "İSTANBUL". This tool uses locale-aware conversion.
What is the difference between title case and sentence case?
Title case capitalises every word. Sentence case capitalises only the first letter of each sentence and leaves the rest lowercase.
Can it convert snake_case straight to camelCase?
Yes. Underscores, hyphens, dots and spaces are all treated as word boundaries, so any programming case converts into any other.
Is my text sent to the server?
No. Everything runs in your browser on this page.
